Ryan is a passionate, reliable, flexible and dedicated professional with a holistic experience. He has culinary exposure to multiple cuisines, along with a comprehensive understanding of bulk food manufacturing.  He has managed large teams with end-to-end responsibility for supply chain management, procurement, food preparation, and hygiene & food safety in conformance to global standards. Passionate about creating new combinations through fusions and aesthetical presentations, Ryan is focused and is passionate about innovation. Born in Mumbai, India, Ryan started his career with JW Marriot, Mumbai and then moved on to Ambassador, Mumbai. His desire to gain global experience led him to explore opportunities abroad, and hence he proceeded to Sharjah UAE in 2005 and joined Hotel Millennium. In 2006, he joined ‘The Princess Cruise Line, Ltd’, a Bermuda Company in the area of Product development and had the opportunity to not only explore multiple cuisines but also understand the facets of bulk manufacturing. Subsequently, Chef Ryan joined Ramee Rose Dubai as a Sous Chef in 2010 and then moved to Boutique 7 Hotel & Suites, Dubai in 2012 where he was managing the entire Hotel operation for one of the distinguished hotels, located in the heart of the city providing the unique value proposition of luxury with best-in-class service. In his last role beginning January 2013, Ryan worked with the Emirates Group at the Dubai International Airport for eight years as a Senior Sous Chef (Regional Chef for India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh sectors). Ryan’s passion for culinary and innovation is evident from the fact that he was the brain behind the opening of ‘Smoqoholic, Smoqo Bakery” in Dubai - a fusion restaurant with innovative product offerings.   His ability to connect with his team, his peers and superiors over the years has enabled him to have connections with some of the finest Chefs globally which he today leverages for business development. His unique ability to market and meet customer expectations has helped him create a reputation for himself which is one of the main reasons he has met success. Ryan vision is to surpass his previous achievements in the culinary arena and to achieve new gourmet standards through a steadfast focus on innovation and delivering value to his clients. Due to the many years of hospitality experience, especially in Food & Beverage, Ryan has excellent ties with local vendors for perishables and non-perishable goods. He also has the experience to negotiate and recognize the best amongst the vendors, which include food supply companies or local farms that will give companies a competitive edge. Ryan has experience in manpower recruitment, which enables him to identify and recruit people with the right attitude, knowledge and skillsets.
